Hvar by Motorbike: Great 14 Day Tour

The more we look, the more we find. There are lots of things going on on the island - a tour here, a seminar there. We reported the other day on a fashion model photography course in Czech which takes place every year in Ivan Dolac, and today we bring you details of a great motorbike tour through Slovenia and Croatia, including two nights on Hvar, which is being offered by SM Tours.

Day 1 Arrival in Ljubljana Pick up the motorcycle, discuss the itinerary with an experienced guide.

Day 2 Ljubljana - Jeruzelem Ride through the Alps and stay in a wine growing B&B in Jeruzelem.

Day 3 Jeruzalem - Novo Mesto Ride through the vineyards of eastern Slovenia and stay in a 16 ct. castle for the night.

Day 4 Novo Mesto - Plitvice NP Cross to Croatia and visit spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Day 5 Plitvice NP - Dubrovnik Ride past the moon-like surface of Biokovo mountains and arrive to Dubrovnik.

Day 6 Rest day in Dubrovnik Spend the day in this beautiful historical town or go for a ride to Montenegro.

Day 7 Dubrovnik - Hvar Island Follow the spectacular Adriatic coast on the way to Hvar Island.

Day 8 Rest day on Hvar Island Relax on Hvar Island, which is surely one of the most beautiful islands in the Adriatic.

Day 9 Hvar Island - Pag Island Ride past Split and Krka National Park and arrive on the arid island of Pag.

Day 10 Pag Island - Sezana Take the seaside roller coaster road up the Adriatic coast and cross back to Slovenia.

Day 11 Sezana - Bovec After riding through many vineyards, follow Soca River into the Julian Alps.

Day 12 Rest day in Bovec Ride around the Julian Alps, go hiking, whitewater rafting, or rest at the hotel.

Day 13 Bovec - Ljubljana Ride Vrsic Pass and past Bohinj and Bled lakes back to Ljubljana.

Day 14 Flight home
