Hvar Rotary Club Charity Event on December 17

Hvar has a long tradition of charitable deeds and good works, and this continues to the present day with the excellent work of the Hvar Rotary Club, which hosts various fundraising events througout the year.

Some, such as the Biciklijada in Jelsa, have now become annual events, and are great family days out, as well as fundraisers - this year's event was called "Cycling for Antonija", in support of a local child suffering from cancer.  

The latest event to be hosted by the Rotary Club will take place on December 17, amid the wonderful ambiance of the Arsenal building on Hvar's waterfront, with the beneficiaries of the event being invalids from the island.

With tickets at 250 kuna, the event will include live music, dinner accompanied by some of Hvar's finest wines, and a lottery.
