The beaches are ready. The water is warm. The summer fun is about to begin.
Mina Beach
One of the most popular beaches in Jelsa is Mina, and it is easy to see why. Located a short 5-minute walk from the main square (just walk along the old town waterfront and keep going), it is also just below Hotel Hvar and next to the campsite, so is a convenient spot for tourists.
In addition to that, Mina offers what many Hvar beaches do not - a sandy bottom. There is a very gentle gradient going out to sea, which makes it a very popular family beach. There are showers and a snack bar, which are additional reasons to give it a try.
