Accommodation

Jelsa has a good selection of accommodation, including hotels, pensions and - the most popular - private apartments.  In terms of location, the apartments on the hills of Burkovo afford the best views of the harbour and old town, while Vitarnja on the road to Vrboska is popular for its proximity to the beach.

There are hotels either side of the town, each with access to good beaches, while the campsites of Jelsa are the most accessible for backpackers without any means of transportation - a mere five minute walk from the catamaran.
